Fuel pump bracket for limited space.?
Any ideas as to where I can get a fuel pump bracket similar to the link below, but cheaper and probably made from metal?
I'm really strapped for space either side of the pump, so this sort of bracket would cure my problem.

Thanks but I just haven't got the space at the side of the pump for the mounting bolts

I used 2 rubber lined ally "P" clips for the filter, if you can get them in 60mm size, they are very neat
Or in Stainless CBS

I cut 4 slots into a thick bit of ally, bent it up a bit each side and put a jubilee clip round the pump that had a bit of silicon hose over it. Them
riveted the ally to the chassis.

%%%~@ that carbon bracket sports quite an obscene price tag, well worth making a wet lay mould for it if you decide to go that route.
What I used on the race car (no space at all) was a pair of steel 60mm terry clips. Simply riveted to the box section, with a cable tie across the top
for overkill.
There's a plastic ca. 60mm terry clip available for T5 fluorescent light fittings too, if you want insulation. I haven't tried that.

Pretty similar to what I did. made it long enough to take the pump and filter and mounted on rubber bobbins...

The ally plate with the slots looks favourite.
Simples when you think about it, but not when I've been staring at my limited space and thinking how the hell do I sort this!

Jubly clips are Heavy..........I used tie wraps.

or I had mounts like this cut. a bit of refinement would see the mounting lugs rotate by 45 deg to make more compact or changed to the pinch type

No swirl pump, just a sump on the tank (not the tank in the pic'. It's 4" dia' with only a 2" hole I to it, pick-up in
the bottom and return into the sump.
Never had surge issue even though the main part of the tank isn't baffled... Not for want of trying either.
Except in very rare cases, I think a swirl pot and all the extra hardwear is over complication when a well made tank will do the job.
