Getting a V5 off a vin only
Is it possible to obtain a v5 for a car just off the chassis no?
A mate has bought a Nova shell which is mint but as he has just realised he never got a v5. There's no reg no or engine number just the chassis
no. He's contacted the useless gits at the dvla who've said he needs to track down the reg no and get it endorsed by a car club. Of which
he's failing miserably.
Now I believe people in the trade/police can hpi a car on the Vin alone to reveal a registration number, but is there any other way? I suppose this
is dependant on the car ever being registered in the first place.
Any help gratefully received
steve.
