IVA - Reverse test
Morning all,
Reading through the IVA manual chapter 17 Speedo and Reverse. It mentions ''VOSA examiner to refer to the VOSA Technical Work Instructions
WI-5.4.1-16 Speedo when carrying out this test''
Does anyone know or remember what this test it ?
Just wishing to test my starter motor reverse and battery capability.
Only drive as fast as your angel can fly... !

Going by a couple of m8's tests they only move it a few feet in reverse on the flat.

I believe what they are referring to is that the speedo won't run in reverse and run the milometer backwards

Agreed, but there is still a requirement for the vehicle to move in reverse under its own power.
Never under estimate the ingenuity of an idiot!

Yeah which is what I thought the OP was concerned about as he asked about battery/starter testing
