IVA pass this morning
I failed first time around at the Beverley test centre in December for a few items as follows, with the solutions:-
Needed a nut cover on fuel pump as it was just contactable underneath - cover fitted
I had to demonstrate how the rear fog light was fixed to show the screws wouldn't penetrate fuel tank - changed screws to nylon.
Viewing angles on headlights, the side light couldn't be seen from opposite side - changed 5 inch shells to 7 inch ones.
My rear brake cylinder sprung a leak on the way to the test - new calipers fitted.
Everything was tested apart from the braking efficiency's and balance.
Above items were checked off this morning and the brakes were tested.
I came home with the certificate and a big smile.
As always a big thank you to everyone who helped me along the way, it's taken 6 years!

Nice one!
Get the registration papers in and you might be on the road for Stoneleigh.

Well done! It's a massive achievement.
Why do they call Port Harcourt "The Garden City"?...... Becauase they can't spell Stramash.

Very well done, all those long hours at weekends and evenings were well with it. With spring not to far away, the time to enjoy it is getting close.

Excellent, great timing for summer......
I've put one car through an SVA and one through an IVA, both times a wonderful drive home with a pass certificate, what a feeling....
First registered drive out is something to look forward to.
Cheers

Nice one, great achievement
I no longer run Furore Products or Furore Cars Ltd, but would still highly recommend them for Acewell dashes, projector headlights, dominator
headlights, indicators, mirrors etc, best prices in the UK! Take a look at http://www.furoreproducts.co.uk/ or find more parts on Ebay, user names
furoreltd & furoreproducts, discounts available for LCB users.
Don't forget Stainless Steel Braided brake hoses, made to your exact requirements in any of around 16 colours.
