Can anyone see a problem with this?

I've read through the IVA sections on external fittings and lights and can't find any reason this won't be ok. I have a 3 point seat bet mounting on my roll bar that I won't be using. I was going to blank it off before re-powder coating but before I do that I've thought that using the mounting points for my rear indicators. I've had a measure and they would be at the right height and distance from the edge of the car and they are round/cylindrical in shape so pass the radius criteria.

Can any one see any issues (excuse the drawing)

There's a fair few tintops that have similar 'high level' indicators, so I don't see it being a problem. Except for the fact that I think it'll spoil the look?

But that's just me.

You will need 100mm (clear) between stop and fog.
I would personally install 3rd brake post iva as its just something that might break or come loose. If its not needed fit it post IVA IMO.

indicators have to be within a certain width from the edge of the car.. check the IVA manual, at a guess you might be too far in with those.

I also agree, get your wiring in for the 3rd level, but don't install it till after IVA.

higher lights, whilst might not look the best are really needed if you ask me, so I'm all for them.

I have added extras to mine at head level - on the back of the seats for sides, indicators and brake, as well as my central roll bar brake. Living in SW London, and the number of times people don't see me in traffic, even with the higher level ones...

Not so much an IVA issue, but if you ever put weather gear on, it may obscure the indicator when looking from the other corner

100% pass - use orange so less obvious on black arches..
Just tag it off the rear indicator - use seam sealer to stick wires in place..

Op is querying puting rear indicators in unusual location, not side repeaters.

Something like this is what I'm thinking.

As long as height (less than 2100mm), min dist from widest point of car (400mm), and angles (80° from same side, 45° from opposite side). Which all look fine, although well worth a measure of the 400 as might need extensions depending on how wide your arches are.

Finally got round to trying to make this work. I machined a couple of ally tubes and drilled a cable hole in it and threaded the ends. I drilled up the roll cage leg and through to the tube lining up the hole and then fed the wires through. worked a treat.

The indicator threads in one side and is held/clamped up with a bolt on the other end.

I've had a measure and from the edge of the roll cage where the indictors mounted to the outside of the rear arch is 350mm so it should be well within the 400mm IVA requirement.

They look ok

But,with your fog light needing to be spaced out from your brake light by 100mm as Loggyboy mentioned won't your bottom light set up look a bit odd?

Ie brake light on arch and fog light on tub
