Rear lights mounting panel?
Had a look at fitting my new rear lights this morning, but come up against a little problem.
There are more holes than a sieve hidden under the current lights, and the 70mm Wipacs wont cover them.
I was thinking of cutting a flexible sheet of plastic roughly 6 x 3" and wrapping in carbon vinyl and mounting this behind the new lights.
Does anyone have a better solution? Im not sure if this will look a bit crappy or not..

Fill the holes, sand flat and paint, colour match could be a bit tricky. You could go black rear arches.

Colour might be a Ral colour 1028 Melon Yellow. Look it up. I would do the same fill n paint or wrap.

Thanks for that color code. I was trying to avoid filling and painting, but it may be the best approach.
In hindsight, i should have got lights mounted in a housing.

Wouldn't it be easier and cheaper to get more suitable lights, rather than trying to fix the wings?
...just a thought.

Well i just purchased these lights, so was trying to avoid that..
Although if you see this set appear in the for sale section, you'll know i've given up and bought another set
