headlight viewing angle

what are the required viewing angles of a headlight for SVA?

I have heard that it has to be 50% of the sirface of the lamp at 80° outwards and 45° inwards. Is this correct?

Never read that.

There are requirements for indicators but headlights seem to only have height and distance from side requirements.

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Not trying to be a smart-arse, know-it-all, or whatever, but this is one of those areas where owning a copy of the SVA manual makes life so much easier.

It's not a great expense in relation to the whole car, and may help to prevent a re-test.
