Good luck, hope it's a pass or at most some very minor fails. It will be interesting to read your review of an up to date IVA experience.

Cheers!....I've done everything I can but I'm expecting a fail, hopefully just on minor/easily fixable things

Tremendous attention to detail on that build. If you need any of the random IVA stuff e.g., the fog light control module to comply, send me a note. I was planning to put together a list to take to Malvern if people needed things.

Thank you! Fog light is all good (neat solution: I've used a VW switch block to control all the lights), but for other random IVA stuff I'll reach out.

The only things I'm not sure will pass are:
Emissions (rebuild engine so hopefully ok),
Noise (got the largest silencer I could and has a second mini-silencer, so again hopefully ok),
Random external edges I've not considered,
Light aim (already roughly set...will hopefully get to fix when at the test)
And the dashboard lower edge (I'm interpreting my dash as 'non-rigid' as it's covered in vinyl, so will comply with a 5mm radius. If they say it's rigid and needs a 19mm radius it may not comply (although it's close to that anyway at 17/18mm....so depends how strict they are?!)

I'm sure there'll be something I've not considered. But fingers crossed

You've actually clarified something for me, this is the equivalent IVA statement;

quote:
The instrument panel lower edge within the "specified zone" must have a radius of curvature not less than 19mm or 5mm and be covered with a non-rigid material.

It's almost like there should be a comma after 19mm if I understand your interpretation?

looks a really nice car.
WELL DONE

one iva point, I don't see any rear reflectors (red). unless they are part of the stop/tail lights themselves?

Thanks!
Yep they're there built in to the outer light units, these from CBS

I had checked and didn't find lamps with reflectors, but the additional ones round the outside are great.

Yep that's it; 5mm if soft, 19mm if hard. Hoping vinyl is counted as soft
