Build Insaurance
How much is it? Who supplies it? Whats covered? Tools as well as kit?

I used MSM tel; 01279 870535.
It cost me £50 for £5000 worth of cover. It didn't cover tools but did cover the kit - except for accidental damage.

If you take out a years build insurance but complete the car in, say, 8 months can you convert the policy over to normal road insurance? Do they give
a good rate or do you get stung as they've got your cash already?
Is the build insurance basically just for theft & fire cover?

I finished my car 2 months before the build up insurance finished and got £7 something off my road policy.
(2/12) x £50 = £8.33
So pretty good in my book.

How do they value what you have? I dont have recepts for the bulk of build. Only bits Ives bought.
