harnesses without E mark
Will 4 point harnesses with a BS mark pass SVA, even if they don't have an E mank?

ISTR that if no e marks are present, the tester will look for signs that it is suitable. As ever, the best bet is to ring the local place and ask -
imagine eventually getting there for your test and being on first name terms with the tester!

Spoke to my SVA centre (Shrewsbury) only last week on this point and he said exactly that, "If they are not marked i will just check them to see
if they are fit for purpose."

That said though its the old story, its all down to interpretation by the individual tester so best to check locally, or book your test at
Shrewsbury!!
