SVA date
Well guys, finally took the plunge and have been given a date for SVA (Bishopbriggs) 8:00am on the 3rd of June.
Anyone know if it will be raining that day?
On a serious note... I will post some pics in next day or so and would welcome any feedback or help/visits.
Cheers for now John

Really nice car, we seem to be running in parallel!

I think many of the replies apply to us both. How have you softened the mirror stems, we both seem to be using the same type
If you can keep you head, whilst all others around you are losing theirs, you are not fully aware of the situation

Very nice looking car that! ISTR someone saying that the front wings had to go forward past the rim, and down past the centre line of the wheel on
the trailing edge? Is that right, or does it ony have to go forward of the rim?
Only other thing I would check is if the front indicators stick out far enough. (Though you have probably already checked that....)
Good luck!

tx guys..
Indicators fine according to manual... I'm kinda worried about mirrors as can't see to much due to arches...think i'll try extending
them out a bit.
Can hardly see anything from scuttle mirror due to rollbar.
Looks like rain on friday to...

How have you secured your flexi brake lines for the front wheels. There have been a few people having problems with them catching on components when
the wheel is on full lock and the line is flexing inward?
I have considered using a light bungie cord of some discription to restrict it's movement when slack.
Nice job though, both of you .

Also where did you get the mirrors? Could they be painted the same colour as the car Mark or would the paint not stick to the plastic?

Car looks good, what about the radius on the edge of that piece of chassis stuck out of the ally panelling, just above the top front wishbone
mount.(best seen in pic LHSfront.

Hi Nick
Braided hoses are not secured, but when turning the wheels lock to lock, the hoses do not touch anything. So hoping this will pass.
Ray... I have rounded these with a file and they hopefully will pass. cheers.
