A word to anyone approaching SVA - see if the DVLA man will come and inspect a short while before the test. In my case, the Ipswich man came out
about a month before the event.
Earlier on I had been told to book the visit as soon as the car was near-enough finished, with only detailing to sort out.

Its a really good feeling isn't it - I have been offered surgery to reduce the size of the grin, and thats after 2 weeks, but I'm going to
use the money to upgrade my limited mileage policy to 50,000 miles a year!!
If you can keep you head, whilst all others around you are losing theirs, you are not fully aware of the situation
