Locostcarclub
Help guys
I got my insurance through in June but they are threatening to withdrawing it as I said I was a member of the locostcarclub at the proposal time and i
have been unable to proove that i am!
I have tried to contact the club for a copy of my membership number but I am not getting any replies.
Does anyone know any of the organisers or how I can get in touch with any of them as I have only till the 10th of July before they withdraw my cover
and I lose my cash.

I had the same trouble last year, no answers, no replies to mail although I understand they have reorganised since last year.
had the same trouble with the insurance co. In the end I asked if any other club would suffice. They said yes so I joined the local car club and the
insurance people were happy with that membership.

I believe Chrisg on here is something to do with the club. I was dealing with him when I renewed my membership in September.
Try a U2U.

I also had the same problem last year and never got a reply despite emails etc so never bothered to renew my membership, i managed to convince the
insurance company i was a member but never proved it. This year the have asked for proof of membership or extra charges apply.
I dont know how much it saves but suspect its about the same as membership ie £10. I am thinking of rejoining but its not worth it if i cant get a
membership number, i consider this site more a locost builders club than the official one, maybe we could be issued with a membership number by Chris
W?and would be happy to pay a small admin cost.
