Gearbox Number
I have been reading the dvla's website and its says you need two things ie engine and gearbox, however, how do you prove the geearbox came out
of the donor car? ie engine is easy as the number is in the log book, etc, but how do you prove the gearbox came from the donor if its not on the
V5?
If that makes sence
Thanks
Phil

As long as it's the right type it doesn't matter. Axles and steering gear count to the total points as well if you're after an age
related plate.
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.
