inspection at home ?

do i need to keep a photo record of my build,also do i need to get some one to inspect my car prior to SVA/MOT im abit confussed

If your kit was supplied with a VIN number, you don't have to have a built-up inspection before SVA. If not, your local VRO may insist on allocating one for you, or they may give you the choice like mine (Oxford) did; if you want them to allocate one, they will need to do the BUI before SVA. At least then there is less of a delay after SVA for the registration process. Also some local VROs insist on an MOT before registration. I've checked with DVLA on this - they are entitled to do so.
