Are removable steering wheels ok?
I had a bit too much wine last night and bidded on a quick release steering boss like this...
Does anyone know if it is ok for Mr SVA or should I fit it after the test?
Cheers,
Raz

Its not so much the boss but the actual steering wheel thats fitted to it. If I were you, I would stick it on AFTER the SVA

Hi Dave  Not really nearing completion yet - just thinking ahead
Thanks guys - to be on the safe side I will fit it after SVA in case of any problems ..... it might be a good theft deterrent though!

Thanks Lenny - you are using the same (Sierra) column as me. So it adds 50mm to the effective length of the column does it?
