Pre SVA inspection
Afternoon all
has anybody ever used this company before:
http://www.smartfxmidlands.com/services.asp
I'm thinking of using them as they are only a few miles from me - I've phoned them and they can do a check that everything is ok with your
car before you go for the SVA

I didn't use anyone other than reading the manual and posting pics/questions on here.
I wouldn't think they could guarantee an SVA pass, though, as there seems to be a lot of difference between individual SVA centres and
individual examiners

I can't really see the point. Get the car as ready as you can. Book your test (£150), fail, get a list of things to fix, fix them, book your
re-test (£30), pass.
If they charge you more than £30 then you haven't really gained anything other than the satisfaction of passing first time?

Concentrate pictures on:-
Front view - suspension bits, nose, etc.
Dashboard/interior
Rear view - covering all lights
A few examples of how wiring & plumbing are fixed
That'll give everyone something to talk about!
