good old dvla
i tried to re tax my car yesterday at post office (12 month old bec)and was told i needed mot (sva feb05 registered as a j like the donor) i
questioned it as it states on log book regisered 2005 so i thought the mot is not aplicable till 2008 but she still refused so i went to local dvla
office to get an answer well it turns out my 2005 build car is a 1992 so needs mot because of how its was registered by dvla has anyone else had
similar probs seems like age related has its downfalls if it was a q i may have got 3 years

already tried that option 3 times problems due to insurance expireing on same day and only haveing a cover note for new policy

Mine asked for MOT on the reminder but when I did it online it didn't need it.
You do not need an MOT if your car was registered in 2005, ring Swansea and tell them and they should be able to help, if you don't get any joy
from the person on the phone ask for someone higher.
