GSXR 1100 Cat Test?

I know my gsxr1100 engine will have to pass the new emissions regs on its SVA test, but as far as I know it has no catalytic converter - do I need to add one? If so anyone have any suggestions where to get hold of one?
Or do bike engines manage to get by without?

If the engine age is 1st August 1995 onwards, then it will require a CAT test. Most kit manufacturers will rent-a-cat for SVA purposes.

This is no kit, it's a scratch build

Design as so

The engine is a '96 i believe, so it will need a CAT?

Scratch built or not, they'll still rent you a CAT.

no all 3D - and i've yet to add lights, indicators, mudguards etc. It was originally designed as an offroad toy, but the thought of 450bhp/ton on tarmac proved too tempting so I'm now building it in mind of getting it SVA'd at some point

It looks almost real, parked up on your drive like that. Just a bit too much grey and black.

It looks quite neat, good luck with it.

Looks very much like a super-wide grasser, something I considered building and road-legalising in pre-sva days!
