can I use wingmirror mounted indicators as FRONT indicators???

Just wondering, can I use mirror mounted indicators as front indicators??

They meet the viewing angle requirements, but presumably I can't have em 1/2 way down the car???!!

just wondered!

Do you mean like the new modern cars?
I recall this being discussed and general consensus was no. Something about the mirrir indicators being designed as side repeaters rather than main ones. Convention shows the main indicators at the front of the car. The aftermarket mirrors with indicators built in dont seem to wrap around enough to pass the visibility angles.
