Centre Mirror for SVA

Has anyone used one of these suction mount mirrors and got through sva?
http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10001&langId=-1&catalogId=10151&productId=200497&categor yId=52210#

I know they aren't the most attractive item but i would rather not stick one on as it'll be a pain to get the glue off my aeroscreen when i want to change it.

Ta,
Chris

I believe these are the ones or very similar to the ones bob and shortie use - not sure if they went through sva with them on though.

Yep, went through SVA with mine on, no problems. Have heard of some SVA stations insisting they are stuck so some people stick a small blob of Sikaflex under them.

I used a slightly different Summit one - squarer edges and no dipping facilities, and it was only £4.99!

Got through SVA no problems. I have it stuck on the scuttle and it has come loose about twice since SVA (5 months)
