I used a clear resin kit off ebay. Normally used for paperweights.
Let the sva man fail an fia switch now!
The 1p coin is magnetic, so I can even hang the key up!

No it is a transponder type. There is a chip inside and a coil around the fia switch (under the panel). When the chip is near the coil, the coil
produces a magnetic/radio signal that energises the chip. The chip then gives off the code to disable the thatcham immobiliser.
That means that some theif with just an fia battery key, cannot nick my car
