Switches position??

do the fog light switch and brake fluid warning have to be on the dash for SVA?, or i could i put them on the tunnel between gearstick and hadbrake??.

interesting question.
re: fog light - there may need to be a telltale, visible or audible (like for inidcators) that the lamp is on. logically you would want it to be in line of sight.

and I'd probably say for the low brake fluid switch?

dunno for sure. is your dash not big enough, just use longer wires

My rear fog warning light is in the middle of my dash - but it is highly visible when it's on. Would be bl**dy annoying if it was directly in line of sight.

Switches can be anywhere convenient, but warning lights should be clearly visible, wherever they're put.

Any doubts, put them where they are expected to be ........on the dash.

There will be plenty of nagging doubts prior to SVA, so don't make this one of them.

You could always ring the SVA centre and ask them. I did that several times and they were only too willing to give advice over the phone.
