Dutch importing problems
Hello, i've some problem importing my newly second-hand bought super 7 into holland.
Dutch DVLA says that you can't get a Q plate when 'Date of first registration' is the same as 'Date of first registration in
the UK'.
Also, body type states 'estate' when it's a super 7 cabriolet.
Third, car has a 2,0 liter and paper states 1600cc.
Last problem is that they say it looks to new for a Q 1985 car.
Is this normal for a UK kitcar and what can I do and how can I get this car on the road?
I'm getting crazy....

It is fairly unusual but as regulations where fairly lax prior to SVA some cars were not correctly registered and at the time it didn't really
matter because the test wasn't modified to suit the car that was being tested (ie emmissions etc.)
The good news is that other people have had these issues and got through them have a look at this article
http://www.totalkitcar.com/reg_articles.php#1015
hope this helps good luck

Hello,
Where in .nl are you guys? I've moved over to Utrecht recently. I haven't got my car registered over here yet as I'm still going
through my SVA and british registration, but i'll happily take a look at the docs for you?
Good luck
David
