Headlights
Is it ok to connect the lights up so they get power from a live thats
switched by the ignition? That way you can't leave the lights on and flatten
the battery. Thats how my Fiats wired. Will that pass SVA, or do you need
lights with ignition of e.g. parking lights?
Thanks

If using a sierra switch then there is a seperate sidelight supply to the switch this is always live, i then connected the headlight suply through an
ignition switched relay.A similiar system could be used with any switch.

As I read the book, you only need 'parking lights' with the ignition off, but not the headlights. Could be a bit off course though.

So sidelights can be classed as the parking lights?
What pin on the Sierra switches is the feed for sidelights, and which is the feed for dip and main?
Thanks
