Waahhhhh!!!!! Didn't Fail Again:):):):)
WooHOO!!...
On the third day he rose again...(to the challenge)
Luigi has come back fighting and finally passed on the third day (attempt).
Been to Chelmsford DVLA, where they carefully questioned me why I was not using Peterborough (my nearest office by postal code). They accepted that I
been SVA'd in Chelmsford this morning and had just handed them a MAC with todays date on it. They even inspected the Viento, allthough the
inpspector was fully booked, he had a trainee with him and they didnt have a kit car on the list, so the lad got mine to do for experience. They even
took photos of the car, the engine bay and VIN number.
Now just waiting for the letter to drop on the door with the tax disk and Plates authority notice.
Interestingly I think they may be giving me an age related plate based on a reciept for the sierra donor bits, even though I didnt have the V5. I am
not sure, but it seemd they were talking that way. Anyway... will find out next week.
Shall be at Newark in the Viento
And the BBQ... and .... and....
EDIT:
In all my haste I forgot to say thanks to so many of you who have put up with my rantings and ravings.
And most importantly, for all the help that many of you have given during the build.
Be assured that I wont be leaving the forum now its built. Hopefully will be able to help others during their builds.
Will make every effort to attend 907's BBQ, and any other meets weather permitting.
I'm off to the BMF Show on Saturday...
(Bikers thing at Peterborough Showground) Its a good place to get a helmet cheap, especially if you have a small or very large head. Also looking for
a good jacket and gloves.
Anyone going... U2U me with mobile number so we can contact / meet if possible.

The first legal drive is a good feeling.
Nothing like the exhaust not when the engine is under load.
