Insurance
Ready to take her out for the first spin tomorrow and have just had a quote from Footman James for £117.60 and £129.15 with the wife added (I know,
before you all start, but I have my reasons)
3000 miles, £9k value, recovery to the house and £100 excess.
Can't imagine I'm going to get any better, is it worth ringing around ???
Any suggestions ?

Sounds very fair - that's roughly what I'm paying.

Roadsure are worth a go - they quote online and are a broker - I got £140 from them with 3 points for £5000.

£117.60 is exactly what I paid them. So cheap I didn't bother ringing anyone else, would cost more in time and phone charges.
