looks good - will it be OK for SVA or have you got the chassis number stamped somewhere else as well?

Nice plate mate!

Haven't stamped the chassis yet. Have another plate 'on show' between the seat backs. Yeah, yeah I know! ME<-----show off!

Anyway, am planning on stamping the floor or perhaps a rail in the rear suspension area. Or getting a plate with just VIN number on it in mild so i can weld it on.

Thing is there seems to be so much variation in what is required depending on where people go.

So what are the actual requirementrs? Do i need it stamped?

I think the best bet is to either stamp it on a chassis rail somewhere, or weld a mild plate in. Must be in a minimum of 4mm high letters.

I've got a friend that works in the engraving/metal working business.

I can ask him about doing some more if people want.

The one in the pic shows my actual car on the engraving so if people don't mine having my car on their plate but with different name, date VIN, other text etc. then its quite cheap. If u want your car then i will need a photo so i can pick outlines on the computer then pass it on to my mate to do the engraving.

By the way, the plate is 2 x 4 inches, aluminium, with black and yellow inlay.

I know i am not a registered trader but am just gauging interest for the moment. I wasn't sure if people would like my plate. I think its pretty cool though! Turned out better than i had thought!
