SVA - Air filter above bonnet
Hi Guys
Has anyone had any problem (or not) passing the SVA with an air filter stuck up above the bonnet line?
If so how much above the bonnet did it stick and what sort of filter was it?
Cheers

None. K+N on a crossflow, came through about two inches. Not even mentioned.

Loads have passed with this arrangement - just remember that it will be subject to the edge radius checks. Ensure that all edges are rounded, or
apply some edging.

Mine went through with a K&N. Trimmed the edges with rubber and changed the nuts holding the top plate on for button head screws. You can see it
in my avatar and photo archive.

Just to be safe, I used a pipercross foam filter for SVA, changed for K&N type after. (still have pipercross, may part for a few beer tokens!)
