self canceling indicators
Hi all just trying to wire up sierra switches and cant get my head round it at all
my question is do the indicators have to self cancel for the sva as fitting some propper switches would be easier
got side lights to work but buggered if i can get dip/head to work bloody stupid earthes

don't know about SVA requirements, but you can get dedicated switches designed for use as indicators. They're OFF in the middle position,
then ON to the left and ON to the right.
Check out Vehicle Wiring Products who do one with a Green LED in the switch lever that flases to show when the indicators are on.

As already said indicators do not need to self cancel although it's a good idea. Might be worth doing a search in the electrics section for a
wiring diagram for sierra switchs . There was one posted recently
