Best Breakdown Cover
Any suggestions for good value breakdown cover - I really just want recovery [to home] only.
Thanks

I only have green flag which is part of my lloyds tsb account package, but when my "project" broke down mid week on A259 to bognor, they
came out within 30 mins. I needed water. When it broke down on the way back at 9pm, they took 1 hour to come out and took us home on the flat bed.
Apparently you can have 7 breakdowns per year before they start getting funny.
The two breakdowns I had counted as one because it was a call out to the same problem. One was roadside repair and the other recovery.

Depends on if you want to cover just a car or any vehicle you happen to be in.
Green flag are good for one vehicle cover or get the breakdown cover with your insurance.
If you want to cover any vehicle then look at AA or RAC.

We got the breakdown cover through our insurance with Adrian Flux. I don't know how good it is and hope we never find out

I've been offered cover with my insurance from Graham Sykes, which is cheap. I'm not sure how good it will be through.
I'm slightly concerned about driving to the SVA as this is likely to be the first time the car will have been on the road.
Its not that far, but I wanted to be sure that if I have a problem I can get towed home.
I expect I'll go with the cover from Sykes and risk it.
Cheers
