Tin top MOT quick question.

My tin top is booked in for an MOT Monday morning. The fron near side fog light was taken out by a low flying pheasant recently and I havent got around to replacing it yet.
Will it fail the MOT as it only has 1 working front fog light ? If so can I just diconnect the drivers side and remove it or do i need to replace it before Monday ?
Thanks for your time.

I think its like SVA etc....if its fitted it has to work. Probably easier to get rid of it. I normally put spot lamp covers over ours on the landy and have a switch on the dash to turn them off. That way they can't fail me for them being angled wrong or not working as they're for "off-road use only" officer.....Oli.

Ps.
Obviously not an expert so could be wrong.....maybe you could duck tape over them both??

Front fog lights aren't part of the MOT according to my local garage. Cheers, Pewe

I'm pretty sure the g/f's car passed an MOT before I got around to fixing the smashed front foglight

Thanks for the time guys.
However i managed to hit YET ANOTHER phesant on the way home today and that little bugger has broken the windscreen.
I cant get it replaced until mon afternoon earliest so i may as well present the car with both faults as is and see what happens.
Thanks anyway.

The fog light wasnt mentioned by the inspector, the screen was though.
Had it fixed and now got an MOT.
I was quite suprised the fog light was a fail but i am not complaining.
Thanks for the replies.
