Securing Brake lines
Hello all,
hopefully a quick one, can you use plastic p-clips for fuel and brake lines, or do you have to use rubber lined metal ones?
many thanks

Either is fine but I would use the rubber lined stainless version.

Plastic ones are fine for both fuel and brake pipes, used by most car manufacturers, quick, cheap and reliable. Can use one clip to hold both
pipesjust make sure you secure them at about 9" apart for SVA

Mark, whats the other half of the fitting for?
Is it a spacer to space the pipe from the chassis or do you drill the holes oversize then put the bush in or?

The shouldered bush goes in the drilled hole & the the pipe clip is tapped into the bush. The pipe clip has a larger diameter at the end, so its
swages out the bush on the inside of the chassis tube.
