Insurance Quotes best of 4

I have had 4 Insurance quotes, thought I would pass on what Varying ones I had.

I am 50 With 9 years no claims.
My first kit car insurance though.

Car is a Bike engined Indy.

Adrian Flux £210 fully comp with breakdown cover.

Graham sykes £295 fully comp with breakdown cover.

Osbourne and son £199 fully comp + £59 Breakdown cover.

But the one that gets the money is.

Sureterm Direct £184 fully comp with full breakdown cover. And 60 days on chassis number to get through SVA.

All have restricted mileage and about £100 excess.

Steve.

Mark.
I posted mine beginning of the week I suppose I will get the amatuer build declaration letter first, Just fitted Acewell speedo because I did not want to risk the pushbike one I fitted even though it was illuminated. Dont know about you but I am finding myself standing in the bloody garage for hours looking for bits I have screwed up on!
All the best,
Steve.

Totally different for me.

I'm 40 with a clean licence and accident history and Sykes were cheapest by a good bit for me at £199 inc breakdown.

Sureterm were so awkard they wouldn't even give me a quote because I didn't know exactly how much how a claim on my company car had cost 6 years ago!

I'm with sureterm too, though a little leaner in years (29) - 190 quid last time. Though A-Plan have promised to beat that this time (when I called them about another car), but we'll see in November...

Apparently A-Plan can do really good quotes for <1000cc (ie blades etc should be fine).

Footman James for me, i have got accident history and allot of guys would not quote me because i made a claim of over £5,000 when i wrote the bike off in June. Surteam were coming in at around the £600 mark, FT were £323 including breakdown and european fully comp.

Try MSM insurance....cheapest by far for more. Plus the BIG bonus is they can duplicate any no claims bonus you already have so if you've got 4yrs on your tintop they'll extend that to the locost as well without losing it on either. If you stick with them for a year or more they'll sign it off as well as a seperate no claims bonus which you can then take anywhere you want....Oli.
