indicator extensions stalks - where from?
Where do people get their front indicator extension pieces from? (normal bike type indicators by the way)

Made my own out of copper plumbing pipe.
Did the job for SVA.

How did you secure it to the nose cone?

I used a bit of thin pipe, welded a nut on both ends, then drilled through a bolt for the wires. Sprayed in black job done. Nut was welded at a funny
angle though so they come out a slight angle.
Did you want them just for SVA?. Will be taking mine off soon as the SVA is passed. Yours for the price of postage, as long as you pass them on when
yours is through.

Thanks for the offer Chris!
Looking at the Luego build manual, I think I can do that from bits in the garage, so will have a go this week.
Cheers All!

How did you secure it to the nose cone?
I used a plumbing blanking end which was soldered onto the pipe.
I then drilled a hole in the face of the blanking end and put a rivnut in it.
I used a small bolt through the nose cone into the rivnut to secure it. The wire came out of another hole in the face of the blanking end and likewise
through a small hole in the nosecone.
I did it this wy as I had the bits lying around.
Also, I wanted something I could take off after the SVA - this method meant the 2 small holes could be drilled out to fite the normal bike indicators
into.
The indicators I used with the extensions just pushed into the copper pipe, and were a tight enough fit to need no other means of securing them.
If you look in my archive at pic SVA3 you can see how they looked with split sleeving on them.
The Luego method is definately neater than mine! Don't care now though,
Stu
