vin number plate attachment query.?
i received my vin number today and was checking to see if its ok if i stamp it on to a plate and rivett it on the chassis..
by the way it reads
***TVR**etc,etc
dont know whether thats good/bad luck?

Yep, that should be fine, although some SVA inspectors also like to see it stamped on the chassis as well.

Odd, mine has the letters TVR in too
My dvla bloke said it has to be on 2 places on the chassis. One on a plate, the other stamped into the chassis, however he did say i could stamp it
into my riveted and glued ali floor...

well that is interesting as i received mine a few weeks ago and that has SABTVR in it as well
