Depends which bit of it. Back plate securing mounts prob aren't but Imagine the foam is but you might need to take off any trumpets so that they can't be felt under the foam. Basically no but then it shouldn't really matter as it shouldn't becontactable ie should be under the bonnet....how are you planning on mounting it ie got a pic? Oli.

Edit - going by replies I feel i need to clarify....IF its going on a 7 and will have a cut out in the bonnet it should be fine - but you might still need to take the trumpets off as I have heard of testers failing cars on that (mine were rubber and so OK). If however its not going on a seven and will be exposed then no it wont be sva-able but then it will be the least of your worries if thats the case.....Hope thats a bit clearer....Oli.

Yeah, I would imagine it'll be fine - The whole of the backplate on mine is under the bonnet, and the cutout in the bonnet itself has edging trim on, and the only thing poking out of the hole is the foam bit, so I'd say very SVA friendly!

Trumpets fit fine behind my filter too - i think mine are 50mm long and I have no problems.

Hope to help mate

Tom

That should be fine for SVA. Even if there does happen to be a few sharp bits protruding, they shouldn't be too much of a problem to cover.
