7 windscreen pillars
Hi
Just a quick question, what have people done with these to make the edges sva friendly, options I see are cover with a trim (my pillar sits flush with
the front of the screen tho), take to the grinder to round off the edges to a suitable radius.
Regards

Best bet is to leave the screen off until after SVA, You dont need it.
Cheers.

too late, already fitted, would be too obvious if removed now

I'd suggest rounding off the edge if possible. It may well look neater too, as sticking some trim on may look a little strange. Depends what it
looks like now I suppose.

If you whip the screen off now and put some need grommets in the bolt holes nothing will be said

Caterham get away with their windscreen - I don't think it has been blunted

I believe the Caterham screen uprights ar made from 6mm ally, rounded off. If using 3mm stainless (like me) they'll need the edges covering with
'u' section stuff. Agree with taking off and filling holes with gromets. You can always say you bought the scuttle second hand.
