steering wheels

i've read previous threads about covering the wheel for sva, being a tight git, whats to stop me just putting some thin foam over the metal 'arms and binding it up with something like tennis racket grip? would that satisfy sva? just a thought.

If it looked like it was meant to be permanent and the foam gave enough protection (I think the amount is stated in the manual) you should be okay....

If you haven't got a Sierra item to use temporarily, what you suggest sounds good - if you put the tape on well it should look "permanent". Just need to make sure it is padded enough to meet the regs - check the SVA book for the exact rules.

Good luck

No, but the boss has to be collapsible. Mountney ones aren't, Astrali ones are.
