Is it too risky (change head before retest)
Got hold of a nice crossflow head, GT valves plus nicely opend up ports. Checked for warping and looks fine. guids haver a bit of wear but within
limits.
I have SVA retest in less than 1 month. by the looks of it, my head at the mo' is probably standard, and may have smaller 1300 valves but the
engine got me to and from SVA last time without any issues.
So do I fit my head now or wait until after the restest?
emission n/afor crossflow; & only speed left to sort out

I would wait, but depending on the emmssions.
if everything is standard and the emmssions will pass then don;t touch it. If you feel that the emmissions are not set then change the head and have
the emssions set with the new head.
If your SVA is only a month away you'll find enough to do with out worry about changing the head.......
