side indicators

anyone with a sva book handy ?

what is the angle of visability the side indicators have to be viewed at.

ie where should i stand so i can see them ?

I wouldn't worry about them too much. You can just about stick them anywhere you want on the side panels.

Exempt

When I built mine i think there was an exemption for the viewing angles on side repeaters on a seven type car.

There is a concession for 7-style cars, as mentioned above.

I put some bits of tape where I wanted to put the indicators, then wandered all around the car. My idea was that if I could see at least one indicator wherever I stood, from the front right round to the back, then I wouldn't be far wrong. I suggest that you make sure that the side repeater is high enough that it won't get masked by a wing (but many don't bother).

Theres an exemption in the sva manual for seven style bodies.

I put mine on the scuttle, as it was nice and easy to wire in. Theres plent of pics in my archive.
