reg plates

i was asked today if you could use the lettering from any eu country on you reg plate ,
as we are in the eu
i was not 100% sure .
e.g i was on my holls in germany and mine got stolen so i got them local in officer.

(i would like to stick the german lettering on my cay i like the style of the letters)

I suspect the answer is no since the plates have to use the one font.

No, you have to use the UK Font, spacing etc to be legal.

Are you sure?

There are an awful lot of 'poseurs' going around with modified f positioning, and fonts on their plates.

Yes, and they're all breaking the law (although there seems to be a degree of tolerance).

I think the right word for them are 'Chavs'.
Theyre the ones with modified PRODUCTION cars and most of them have the letters ASBO after their name.
I think part of their rehab should be a copy of rons (or chris's) book. That should keep them off the streets.
