Posted: Wed May 23, 2007 8:37 am Post subject: Leaving the GTS forum permanatly
Hello to all
It is with a heavy heart that I have decided that i can no longer support GTS tuning as a company.
Therefore it would be wrong of me to be on this site in any shape or form.
As of today i will be requesting that any admin status i have is removed.
I have also removed all my posts from the site as i said i can no longer support the GTS brand.
I wish all of you who are building a GTS well.

I am very concerned about this.
I have been warned about GTS as a company by another poster on this site who I have known for a couple of years through matters totally unconnected to
Locost. This, along with other people's views of GTS make me very reluctant to part with hard earned cash to a company that seems to be held in
very low esteem by quite a few people.
I work for a national bathroom installer and I know that people are always quicker to complain than praise and take that into consideration.
Calvinx if you could enlighten me on your reasons for this you have my word that I shall not disclose it to anyone else.
This is a real shame as I had my heart set on a GTS Panther and now I dont know what to do...............................

The main reason people moan is GTS were turned into a scapegoat. It was fine to moan about them, but say a bad word about anyone else and you might as
well have got hung.
People seem to forget that the kit car industry is run by blokes in sheds, running it usually as little more than a hobby because its what they really
enjoy doing.
I think you will find that GTS have really turned themselves around this year. If you want an independant review look at Darrens feedback on ebay:

95% aint bad. And you need to remember people are quicker to lay the blame and complain, than people are forthcoming with praise.
I cant comment on Marks recent reaction, but as always theres 2 sides to every story. And the truth usually lies somewhere inbetween the 2.
Try phoning Darren and talking to him. He is a very helpful and knowledgeable bloke and will go out of the way to help most people.
There are plenty of satisfied customers of GTS. Just a shame some of them got fed up with the crap on here and all but left the site.

If you forget the forum replies the fact still remains that more people complain about GTS than any other company i know of. Many complaints come from
new people too. BUT they should as stated go to GTS 1st.

Damn! I heard that it wasn't so much the matching outfits, but that one of them (no, I don't know which) went storming off, with broken

Well I dont know what's gone on and I am sure that the speculation is probably better than the actual truth.
But I must say that you strike me as a man of good character maybe I have not always agreed with your point of view ( but I don't agree with the
c**p a lot of the politicians sprout ) but we are all entitled to our own opinion .
But you have 'integrity' and a slightly maveric nature so hats off to you for having the nutsack to stand up and face you critics head
on.
All the best and dont ever loose your determination to speak out for what you belive in.
PS surley calvin is a scot - so wearin skirts is part on the heritiage oh and the handbag on yah belt - with bits of dead rabit on
so unless Calvin and Daren were wearing the same tarten ( now there is a new conspiracy theory we aint been down )
