The indicators on my car are identical to the indicators on MarkH's car. His failed at Nottingham, cause they didn't stick out enough,
mine went through at Beverley with no problem.
It's a lottery mate.

You mean 35 mm long? I think there is no regs on size, so long as they work. They probably fall in the exempt area behind the wheel so i think that
they will be OK. Also they would probably snap if you wacked them...
Second opinion anyone?
Ooops, i stand corrected! Im off to beverley anyway, thats my excuse!

So long as they are e-marked and mounted in accordance with lighting regs, and mountings are within radii regs, I can't see how they can be
failed.

if the indicators are more than 400mm inboard of the outside edge of the car they WILL fail.

And remember to check if the rear is wider than the front. They must be within 400mm of the most outer edge of the car, not counting mirrors. My Indy
appears about 20mm wider at the back than the front.

Zetec and Steve G are exactly right with regards distance from outside of vehicle. Mine were a borderline fail. I stuck an extra inch extender on
each one (I've got them somewhere if anyone fails and wants these).
But as you'll no doubt fail on more than these (!) i would take the risk. IF you fail on them then sort out some extenders.
