cylinder head measurements
ok having a thought on which cylinder head it might be possible to use as a conversion for the mini. i know KAD do one, and the BMW motorbike head is
becoming popular but theres so many out there surely there must be more.
my initial thought was to take an A series head gasket to a scrapyard an mate it to different cylinder heads to see if any are compatible. but that
would take ages.
so, i wondered if anyone out there has a head gasket for other cars i.e. 1300 crossflow, other bike engines etc and would be kind enough to measure
it!
cheers

It has been done back in the 60s with Lotus Twink heads and cutdown 2.4 litre Jag XK heads -- don't even think about it a colossal amount of
welding.
Or the one that gave me real pleasure to look at an 998 Imp engine with the bottom end extensively altered to fit a Mini gearbox.
