dvla inspection

i bought a locost off ebay built to the ron champion book using mk fibreglass and luego alloy panels ive nearly finished it and need a chassis no from dvla no donor was used i have receipt for whole car with engine no off the seller and reciepts for bodywork,wiring,clocks etc but not for axle,steering ass and gearbox will i need these for inspection please help

I called the DVLA and asked for someone to come out and inspect the car and issue a chassis number.

He looked at it to confirm that it was more or less all there and close to being on the road. He asked a few easy questions about the donor and I was able to get an an age related plate. You will probably get a Q plate but that's no real problem.

If all that goes ok (no reason why it shouldn't) you can then apply for SVA test

thanks mate will crack on now and get sorted.thought i was going to have to get a freind to list some imaginary parts on ebay!
