securing Brake - Fuel - Elec pipe work...

Hi ya...

I fancy making some mild steel strips - tack weld to chasis - bit of rubber tube - and bend them to secure various pipe work in the good old fasioned way...

Now.. is this ok with sva? and if so is there a recomended minimum spacing of the clips?

Lastly.. can i use a plastic - poly aprox 1" tube secured in the tunnel as a conduit so i can simply pass wiring from front to back of car?

Thanx in advance for any advice

jon

Was looking at this today. New book says clips max 100mm apart in tunnel. This seems a bit close to me ?

Edit:

Flakmonkey's build diary says about 200 mm apart.
