Bike taxed as a car?
I read this article this morning on the tube, couldn't make sense of how a bike can be taxed as a car.
Anyone know?!
Ned.

Is it a three wheeler on a solid chassis? Does that make a difference (ie like a trike).
However it does look like a bike!

I know he's a man of the cloth but that doesn't mean he's not a f***ing idiot. Even if it is classed as a car and a helmet
isn't necessary, he's an a***hole for not wearing one. Just like a bike or even a sidecar, he could still fall off that and kill himself.
Maybe he thinks that there'd be divine intervention if he was about to die! What a p***k.

I've seen that dude going around yeovil, he's a pain in the a**e as he never goes over 20mph, even when the thing is empty, so I'm
not suprised that he thinks he doesn't need a helmet. Mind you with the way the boy racer's fly around here, you wouldn't be safe in
a tank

heard about this on radio 5 live.
apparently if a 3 wheel bike is over a certain weight, it counts as a car.
in fact reliants must be below 400 kilos or so to qualify as trikes
