Aluminium Boot Lid

Putting together the boot lid, planned to use simple flat aluminium sheet rivetted to the top of the body to wrap around the rollbar.

How would this fit with SVA? If the edge sits just inside the bodywork, would it count as a imple 2mm protrusion (ie have to be blunted) or as a metal edge and need to be bent by 180 deg?

Thanks

The edges of mine were in line with the centreline of the top tube. Passed ok with edges blunted.
