book chassis purchase

in view of limited time, crappy welder, wanting to get on with it, etc, etc I'm (gulp, sheepishly) thinking of buying a chassis

Any comments on who is making (original) book chassis' these days? anyone familiar with Aries - any other suggestions?

thanks

aries used to be stuart tylor's locost then they went on there own, so should be a very good chassis.

but there was a guy on here selling an unfinished project that may be of interest to you, type unfinished project into a search!

You can try a various amount of chassis makers but, if you are going down the book route then have a look at the locost parts website.

www.locostparts.net is the site

They are also doing some stuff on the Haynes roadster as well if you are interested
